Thanks to generous grants from the Garfield Weston Foundation, Congregational & General Charitable Trust and City Bridge Trust we are now able to start thinking about implementing our plans to upgrade our building.
These plans include installing a lift so that our first floor is accessible to wheel chair users and others who find using the stairs difficult, a coffee bar, automatic electrically operated front doors to enable easier access for buggies and wheel chair users and other improvements make the building more user friendly.
However we still have a way to go in our fund raising before we reach our target. The church and its members are continuing to work hard to raise money to fulfill our vision for a building so that we can expand our work further in the community.
If you would like to know more about the project or help in our fundraising please get in touch with our church secretary, Paul Ayliffe.
