Gorgeous, gorgeous cakes!
Fancy a chat over a coffee and being part of a nationwide event?
On Friday 25 September, Geddes Place United Reformed Church is supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Mornings.
The church’s elevated bright and airy coffee bar will be welcoming people to share in Macmillan’s huge community fundraising event. The coffee bar is easy to find too, located at the top of Bexleyheath Broadway.
And it’s not just on Friday. The coffee bar will be donating to Macmillan all funds raised from their cake sales during the week beginning 21 September.
Bring-and-buy Bric-a-Brac stall
During the Coffee Morning we will also be holding a bring-and-buy Bric-a-Brac stall. A perfect excuse for an end-of-summer sort out for a great cause!
The Geddes Place URC town centre coffee bar is open for filter coffee, tea and refreshments on Mondays from 10.30am to 12.30pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am till noon – and is fully accessible by lift.
Not been there before? Why not check out a new venue to catch up over a cuppa and some gorgeous treats – and help Macmillan Cancer Support.

On a recent weekend many people came on two days to see the Changing Times Exhibition and also to see the Olympic Torch Relay pass the church. Among the visitors on the Saturday we were pleased to welcome the Mayor of the London Borough Of Bexley, Councillor Alan Downing.
The exhibition by the Bexley Historical Society illustrated the history of the Broadway, Bexleyheath 1912-2012. More information about this project may be found here. Visitors were also able see the Bexley Wall Hangings, see more here.
